Mumbai make their way onto Chennai to take on Chennai City FC in the last of their four away matches in a row. Mumbai faced Minerva Punjab in the previous match and were defeated 2-0 in the game at Ludhiana.

Mumbai have been struggling in the league with 5 losses on the trot that began with the Bengaluru FC loss away. Mumbai coach Santosh Kashyap will hope his side come to the fore and end the away trip on a promise with all 3 points. The team has been playing well but the results have not come as he would have expected.  Mumbai are at the 6th spot in the table with 6 points from 7 games.

Some players like Farukh Chaudhary and Hitesh Sharma have impressed with their work rate and spirited performances. Striker Karan Sawhney has been on a good run lately with 3 goals in 7 matches and would hope to carry on his form into the game.

Chennai City FC, too, has been on a poor run with 4 points from 7 games. They have undergone a managerial change with former coach Robin Charles Raja released and V.Soundararajan taking charge at the club. The new change can prove to be a turning point in their fortunes and Mumbai will have to be wary of that.
