Mumbai welcome Mohun Bagan in a highly anticipated clash in the ninth round of fixtures of the Hero I-League. The game marks Mumbai's return to home ground action after a stretch of consecutive four away games . These games saw them fall out of race as they lost all the games on tour.

Coach Santosh Kashyap will hope his side can return to form back in their fortress which has seen a lot of big teams leave beaten historically. Mumbai are always a tough side to beat at home with the crowd support backing them up to perform well.

Mohun Bagan are no exception as they have only managed to win twice at Cooperage in previous seven attempts. This time around though, Mohun Bagan are in promising run with 7 games unbeaten with 5 wins. Their two draws came away at DSK Shivajians and in the Kolkata Derby against East Bengal. They will be a stern test for the struggling Mumbai side.

Mumbai will hope new signings help them stabilize their season. The signings of defenders Mehrajuddin Wadoo and Djelaludin Sharityar, both of whom started the game against Chennai City FC will boost the defensive line. Santosh Kashyap added attacking talent to his ranks when he snapped up Brazilian striker Anderson Raimundo Da Silva (Anderson Silva), who shone on debut with a well-taken penalty. Mumbai will count on the new signings to deliver all the three points in a tough fixture against a solid Bagan side.

We urge all Mumbaikars to come out in support of the Yellow Brigade to cheer them at the Cooperage Stadium on 15th January at 7pm. Tweet with #AmchiMumbai and #MUMvMB to show your support. Come on Mumbai !!
