Mumbai continue their streak of away games in a span of a week by making their way to Kolkata to face Indian football giants Mohun Bagan at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata. This will be Mumbai's second away game in a row after last weekend's loss at Aizawl that ended 2-0 for the Mizo side.

Mohun Bagan was undefeated for nine matches in a row but their streak was ended by the resurgent Churchill Brothers under new manager Derrick Pereira. Churchill Brothers won 2-1 putting an end to the Mariners' unbeaten run. The loss can be attributed to Mohun Bagan's tough schedule with the AFC Cup Playoffs against Club Valencia which the Kolkata side won in two legs.

Mumbai will be reeling from the loss against a tough Aizawl side that have been on a steady rise to the higher echelons of the I-League table with a revelation of a season under former Mumbai coach Khalid Jamil. Mumbai have been winless in last 10 games with 7 losses and 3 draws. Mumbai coach Santosh Kashyap has his task cut out against a well-organized Bagan side that will be on the rebound after a defeat.

Gaffer Santosh Kashyap will be expecting longtime injured defender Lalchhawnkima to get back to match fitness and new signing Baljit Sahni to step up to the occasion. The defensive pairing of Djelaludin Sharityar and Mehrajudin Wadoo has been quite effective with 3 clean sheets in last 4 games. The attack is a matter of concern with the hopes pinned on Brazilian imports Alex Willian and Anderson Da Silva.

Mumbai are placed bottom of the table with 9 points from 12 games meanwhile Mohun Bagan are on the third position with a tally of 21 points from 10 games played. Mumbai will be going all out to improve their position on the table as they look for a much needed win.
